A body composition analysis estimates how much of your body weight is fat, how much is muscle, and how much is water. It takes a few minutes: you stand barefoot on the machine and hold its handles, and it sends a very small, harmless electrical signal through the body that you do not feel.
The scale only tells you your weight. This tells you what that weight is made of, which matters most when you are trying to lose weight. Read why weight loss is not always fat loss.
This test is not suitable if you have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, or if you are pregnant. Tell us before the test.

The laboratory at our Sayan clinic is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm. Call the lab to ask about a test, fasting or home sample collection. Reports are ready the same day.
