A denture replaces missing teeth with a removable set that you take out to clean. It can replace a few teeth (a partial denture) or all the teeth in a jaw (a complete denture).
What it involves
Making a denture takes several visits: measurements of your mouth, a trial fitting and the final fitting. New dentures take time to get used to for speaking and eating, and small adjustments in the first weeks are normal.
Looking after a denture
Clean it every day, take it out at night unless the dentist tells you otherwise, and keep coming for check-ups, because the gums and bone change shape over time.
The dentist examines your mouth first and tells you which type suits you, and the price, before starting. Dentures are made at both our clinics.
